Justin Timberlake is urging fans of his music to be patient because he has no idea when he'll release his next songs.

Justin Timberlake is currently enjoying success as an actor and he's set to follow up his supporting role in new film The Social Network with a new movie next month (Oct, ‘10) - and that means his pop career will
have to wait.

Timberlake tells Entertainment Weekly magazine he isn't sure when he will record a follow-up to 2006's FuturesexLovesounds.

He simply says, "I'll know when I'll know (it's time to hit the studio again)".

And the singer/song/writer doesn't feel guilty about making his fans wait for new recordings "Does a painter make a painting because he has to make it by December 21st? No, he doesn't. It happens when it pours
out of him. That's how music is for me".

But Timberlake insists his current acting ambitions doesn't mean he's no longer writing music "I never stop making music... (but) I just don't know (in) what capacity I want to be involved anymore".
