Mariah Carey and Miley Cyrus will both appear on Simon Cowell's charity single for victims of the recent earthquake in Haiti.
Mariah and Miley are the latest stars to join the already impressive line-up, which includes Cheryl Cole, Leona Lewis, JLS, Rod Stewart, Michael Buble and Alexandra Burke.
The song, a cover or Everybody Hurts by REM, is being produced by Steve Robson.
"We're getting there. We have had an incredible amount of support, It's amazing these great singers are clearing their schedules to make this happen.” Simon Cowell told The Sun, which is co-organising the release.
It is hoped that the song can be released as soon as possible after recording is completed.
All proceeds from the charity single will go to The Sun's Helping Haiti fund and the official Disasters Emergency Committee.
Meanwhile, Hollywood celebrities united on Friday for the George Clooney’s ‘Hope for Haiti Now’ Telethon, which raised $57million.
Sandra Bullock has donated $1 million, telling usmagazine, “I wanted to ensure that my donation would be used immediately to meet the needs of the Haitian people affected by this catastrophic event”
