Paris Hilton Sued Over Shoe Design

Paris Hilton is facing a legal battle with a shoe company over allegations she copied a design for her own line of footwear. Executives at New York-based firm Gwyneth Shoes are suing Hilton for trademark and patent infringement, according to documents filed last week (Dec 27, ‘09) and obtained by Tmz.com.Hilton is accused of stealing the idea to include a heart-shaped pad on her heels' insoles, a design the brand's bosses claim they filed to patent in 2007.

Paris Hilton released the range in question in February 2008.Attorneys for Gwyneth Shoes are demanding Hilton hand over every pair of shoes that feature the pink heart.
