Morgan Freeman believes that director Christopher Nolan will return to the Batman franchise to shoot a third movie.
Freeman stars as Lucius Fox in both Batman Begins and The Dark Knight and thinks that the filmmaker, which is currently working on Inception, has to return for Batman 3 - The Caped Crusader.
Rumours have circulated that Nolan didn’t want to return to the franchise after the massive success of The Dark Knight.
Freeman said: "I know - I just know - that Chris is working on number three. He couldn’t possibly not. What I don't know is how that story is going to play out - where it's going to be and who's going to be in it," he explained. "There's a good chance he would incorporate Lucius Fox and Alfred."
And many rumors have circulated as to which foe Batman will face with both Johnny Depp and Eddie Murphy being linked to The Riddler.
However Freeman has revealed that he would love to see Catwoman back on the big screen: "I want to see Catwoman. I have [a casting] idea, but it's just an idea and I'm going to keep it to myself."
Earlier in the year David Goyer, who wrote the Batman Begins and The Dark Knight screenplays, admitted that if the write story was presented to him he may take on a third movie.
