Daniel Radcliffe has signed on to take a leading role in 'The Woman In Black'.
Radcliffe - best known for his portrayal of Harry Potter in the wizard movie series - will play Arthur Kipps in the new movie, an
adaptation of the Susan Hill novel which has also been on the West
End stage.
The script, being worked on by Jane Goldman and James Watkins, sees Daniel play a young lawyer who must visit the estate of a deceased client only to discover he is not by himself in the house.
Daniel said: "I am incredibly excited to be part of 'The Woman In Black'. Jane Goldman's script is beautifully written - both
tender and terrifying in equal measure. It is thrilling to be working with
James Watkins. From his brilliant work on 'Eden Lake'
and also having met him and heard his vision for the film, I know he will make
a fantastic film."
Production on 'The Woman In Black' is due to begin in fall this year.
